Accounting graduates highest in 30 years

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants estimates that more than 64,000 bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting were awarded in the 2006 – 2007 school year. This represents the most in 30 years. It also represents a 19% increase from the 2003-2004 school year when the last survey was performed.
